What is active oxygen Ozonid AOO?
The worldwide patented active oxygen ozonide AOO makes our natural cosmetics SaneO2 and Biocutin unique. In 1986, Prof. Dr. Gäbelein at the Charité in Berlin discovered how active oxygen ozonide AOO is bound in such a way that it does not volatilize. This forms the basis to produce AOO to retain all its benefits.
How is active oxygen Ozonid AOO manufactured?
To produce active oxygen, atmospheric oxygen is converted into ozone, which then undergoes a chemical reaction with unsaturated vegetable oils.
The reactive ozone ion has a strong oxidizing effect. It reacts with unsaturated vegetable oils.
The product of this oxidation is a new substance called ozonide or active oxygen.
How does active oxygen ozonide AOO occur in nature?
In nature, active oxygen ozone is found primarily in plants and warm-blooded cells. In plant cells, it acts as a protective shield for the preservation of the species.
