OILY & DANDRUFFY HAIR - WHAT TO DO?
Oily and flaky hair is usually caused by a yeast fungus that everyone carries on their skin. Due to increased sebum production, the yeast fungus receives an increased food supply and multiplies. Reasons for this could be e.g. stress, nutrition or hormonal changes. The skin becomes irritated and reacts by forming dandruff, itching and redness. As a result, hair can look stringy again just a short time after washing.
A mild shampoo against oily hair without silicones is best suited. Biocutin® Haircare products are made completely without silicones! They help to regulate sebum production and thus prevent greasy as well as flaky hair.
For hair washing we recommend the vegan SHAMPOO CONCENTRATE OILY & FLAKY. It cleanses the scalp particularly mildly so that it does not dry out and is not stimulated to renew excessive oiling. The contained chitosan helps against dandruff and prevents itching. The vegan CONDITIONER OXYGEN FINISH supports the care and should be gently massaged into the lengths rather than at the hairline. Then rinse thoroughly to avoid residues and possible re-greasing.
BIOCUTIN® - BEAUTY TIP
Better to wash your hair in the morning than in the evening. If you toss and turn on the pillow at night, the sebum from the scalp is distributed more quickly to the hair lengths. Oily and flaky scalp needs gentle care. Products should definitely be massaged in gently, and even when drying the hair should not be rubbed when drying. This is because strong pressure stimulates the sebaceous glands.
Heat irritates the scalp and increases sebum production. We therefore recommend washing the hair only lukewarm and blow-drying at a low temperature. To give your hairstyle the optimal look, the vegan mousse VOLUMINIZER should only be worked into the hairline before blow-drying. The vegan hair spray HAIRSTYLER, best spray from the bottom into the roots, so it gives the hair stand strength.
